I get a relatively steady stream of people asking me for what they should do now that they have met the Welcomed Consensus and/or RJ Testerman himself. First contact with the cult usually comes from attending a Benchmark. This is where the first introduction into the jargon and insider speak happens. This helps to form the closed information loop in that surrounds the community

The truth will set you free, so educate yourself. Read the cult posts on this site, read the links to cult education on the resource page, or just even start with the article linked below. Most of all trust your gut. If it is uncomfortable to ask questions maybe ask yourself what kind of "educational" organization discourages questions?

Language Control: To enforce isolation, many groups replace common words with special jargon, or create new words to describe complicated abstractions.
